Our contact form collects your name and email so that we can reply to your query.
Within various sections of the slave ring, you will be required to submit via forms; submissions of proof of tasks to earn certain achievements and points. The information you provide is voluntary and for your own entertainment purposes only. We stipulate that no personal identifying information should be provided in these forms.
As part of the registration process we collect email addresses and usernames. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. We use Buddypress and PHPlist to deliver our newsletters and emails. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails, or by deleting your slavering user account (see Access to your personal information).
Like millions of other website owners, I use Google Analytics on goddesssaffron.com
Google Analytics is a piece of software that grabs data about my visitors (you). It’s something like an advanced server log.
What does Google Analytics record?
- What website you came from to get here.
- How long you stay for.
- What kind of computer you’re using.
- And quite a bit more.
What do I do with your data?
The tracking information allows me to better understand the kind of people who come to my site and what content they’re reading. This allows me to make better decisions about design and writing.
Occasionally, I will compile aggregate statistics about the number of visitors this site receives and browsers being used. No personally identifying data is included in this type of reporting.
All of my activity falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.
